Setup WordPress to create the separate blog page
It is easy to configure a custom home page on WordPress. To do this you have to create two pages that you will use as the home page and the blog page. Name the pages anything you want and you don’t have to add any content to them. Once the pages are created, to separate page for blog posts in WordPress go to Settings>>Reading page. Under the ‘Your homepage displays’ section, select the ‘A Static Page’ option. Select the home and blog pages you just created. Go to Pages>>All Pages and here you will see the homepage and blog page with the new labels. Click on any of the links to view the page.
How the pages look will depend on the theme of your WordPress website. You can configure the theme settings further by going to Appearance>>Customize page.
Add the blog page link in the navigation menu
With the separate blog post page created, the next step is to make it easy for visitors to find it. Go to Appearance>>Menus page and from here add the Blog page you created to the navigation menu.
Customize the homepage
Most WordPress themes have built-in templates for displaying static pages as the front page of a website. You will, however, need to set this up under Appearance>>Customize. If your theme came with a template for the homepage, you can select it and edit it.

Customize the blog page
