San Diego Web Design vs. San Diego Web Developer
What is the difference between Web Design and Web Developer?
San Diego Web Design vs. San Diego Web Developer
Many people seem to think that the two terms mean the same thing! Alas, we are here to explain it to you!]
Web Designer- The Web Designer is the front end of the website. This is the person who interacts with the client building the website, and making sure it has the look and feel the client wants. The web designer does the “design” of your site only by utilizing content management systems, such as WordPress. The Web Designers job typically includes the format, colors, pictures, layout, and navigation of the website itself. A web designer you want to hire is one with marketing experience, as well as graphic design experience, and most of all good communication skills.
Web Developer/Programmer- These are the very techy guys that work on the back end. Web Developers focus on how the site works and interacts with the people using it. They are the ones that build, create, and maintain the scripts, and forms, Ecommerce, and database applications, among many other areas. The developer gives the abilities to carry out the actions on a website. A good developer should have a wide range of programming skills to be able to solve problems quickly, and have a large volume of development/programming tools at his/her disposal.
It is always important to understand the differences when making that initial call to set up your website. Both of these two jobs are essential in creating a well laid out website and you should ensure that both your designer and developer are working hand in hand to achieve the best possible outcome for your website.
With all this said, what do you think? Is one more important than the other?
