Tumblr Importer for WordPress

This is where you can import your Tumblr blog posts into WordPress without any hassle what so ever! Yet another tool to make your Web Design easier!

Here are a few things to know before using the importer.

1. The importer correctly handles post formats
2. It has a WP-Cron based background importing: which means you can start it up, then come back later to see how far it’s gotten
3. Duplicate checking; the importer will not create duplicate imported posts
4. Imports ALL posts, drafts, and pages
5. Also contains Media Side loading (for audio, video, and image posts)

Importing:

1. Upload the files to the /wp-content/plugins/tumblr-importer/ directory.
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
3. Go to Tools->Import and use the new importer.
