Backing Up your WordPress Site

You should always back up your site regularly, especially prior to upgrading software. Below are the quick steps to backing up your WordPress site.
1. Log into your C-panel
2. Find the phpMYadmin icon, and click it.
3. You are then directed to your php admin page
4. On the right hand side locate the data base containing your WordPress files
5. Click the “export” tab on the top.
6. Select All the tables, and check the SQL radio button.
7. Check the “Add drop table” box.
8. Check the “Add if not exists” check box.
9. Check the “Save as File” box
10. Check the “None” for compression. If your database is very large use a compression method.
11. Click Go. The data will now be saved into your computer.

There is also an Online Back Up available through WordPress that you can download and use 100 MB of FREE space to back your files up.
You have put a lot of hard work into your Web Design, so why not back it up so if anything happens you don’t have to start all over!!
